UK mutated coronavirus variant detected in 41 countries : WHO

World Health Organisation has said that the new coronavirus variant that emerged in the UK has been deducted in 41 countries/territories so far.
UK identified the new COVID-19 variant that it said is 70% more transmissible, on December 14 last year.
Several countries have suspended the travel from Britain in a bid to contain the spread of the new strain.
Covid-19 has infected over 8.6 crore worldwide.
